Scottish Aviation & STEM Trail

Morayvia was honoured to take part in the launch of an innovative new website today, The Scottish Aviation & STEM Trail. The result of over three years development, the site brings together the history of aviation in Scotland and promotes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).

Air Officer Scotland, AVM Ross Paterson, "We are delighted to be launching The Aviation STEM Trail and hope it will be of interest to many people celebrating Scotland's key role in the development of aviation. Hopefully schools and young people will find our STEM materials, fun, informative and inspirational".

Maggie Appleton, CEO of the RAF Museum said, "It is wonderful to be working with our RAF colleagues in Scotland on such an inspiring project. As well as sharing stories of the Royal Air Force we are passionate about engaging young minds with Science and Technology."

Veterans and aviation enthusiasts are encouraged to contribute to the site to enable it to grow and diverge and we would invite our members and friends to have a look.
